Abstract

The in service training programme for livestock inspectors at AHD, Kerala during 2011-12 is analysed. The total 35 livestock inspectors, 22 males and 13 females, formed the sample. Training Need Analysis has been done on this sample.

Introduction

Training Need Analysis (TNA) is defined as determining the gap between what a trainee must be able to do and what he is currently doing (Anon, 2007). TNA involves breaking down the training problem or need into its basic parts, so that the specific training content could be identified and understood.
