Introduction

Exposure visit is an important extension tool to create awareness among farmers about new technologies developed for them.  It also motivates farmers to adopt developed and desired technologies. Awareness knowledge may motivate an individual to seek ‘how-to’ knowledge and principal knowledge of a technology or practice. Such information seeking is concentrated at the knowledge stage of the innovation-decision process, but it may also occur at the persuasion and decision stages (Rogers, 2003). Mathialagan (2005) also said that function of extension teaching method is to provide stimulation that causes the desired mental and / or physical action on the part of the learner.
